Hurrah! I am finally on the laptop!
Hepburn and Bluewater have put me to shame with their quick updates as I've been awol for over 3 weeks now. Congratulations to you both ladies! Need to write my birth story still, it didn't really go to plan though and I am a little worried about wanting a sibling for A and going through the last few weeks again Stitches are NOT fun!
Apart from being sleep deprived all is ok, A is just perfect and I still can't believe this little miracle is mine! Why does nobody warn you about the first few weeks after birth?! It's sooooo tough! Amazing but bl00dy hard work! BFing didn't go well at first but we persevered and now seem to be getting there, he's gaining weight after quite a big drop so I am really happy.H has been truly amazing, he's taken to being a dad so well and I am so proud of him...he was also an absolute rock during my labour. A's grandparents and family absolutely adore him and all our friends are desperate to see him which is nice. I'm just starting to get out and about a bit more but only to places where I can BF easily (feeding cafe at hospital) until I feel more confident.Slowly getting there and starting to feel more like myself again albeit on MUCH less sleep! Man alive I wish you could bank sleep!
Here's a couple of pics for you and I know I'll be picking your brains soon! I tell you what though, what I've learnt on here has definitely helped me out so far! Please don't quote as I may remove the photos soon thanks xxx
