morning all! quick question if you don't mind...I went for a walk Sunday, about 30 mins then stopped at a pub for couple hours then walked back! I noticed yesterday my hips were hurting a bit and thought maybe with the stretching etc i am a bit sensitive but last night I was really uncomfortable and found it hard to get comfy on my side, now I have woken with quite bad back ache, and ache in my belly, should I be worried? X

There is a lot of stretching going on as LO is growing very quickly. Is it quite painful or more muscle ache? How far along are you? If you are concerned, contact your MW x

Hey thanks for replying. It has been really quite painful and still is. I'm only 5 weeks, went to the docs earlier and she had a feel around and tested my urine, she thinks I've probably overdone walking and also said implantation is about now, if it doesn't ease I have to go back in a week or so for early scan. Really hoping all is ok and it will ease off!

It's probably implantation cramping at that stage. Take it a bit easy until things have progressed a bit perhaps?

I had a lot of cramps and aches during my first few weeks, your body is starting to change a lot already so I think it's normal to feel some discomfort. Also, I was hyper-aware of that area of my body so I think you notice stuff more IYKWIM. Definitely take it easy for a few days and go back to your doctor if you're still concerned x

thanks everyone :) was in so much pain yesterday, spoke to docs again late afternoon and was told to take a cocodamol before bed so I can sleep! Have woken this morning and the pain is so much better. Its pretty much gone! Just hope all is ok and it was implantation pains. Just surprised how bad it was for implantation!
