I've seen a ton of woman posting on here discouraged because they think that they will never conceive and it breaks my heart because I was in that mindset for a year and a half when my partner and I didn't get pregnant like we had always wanted! We even started to blame each other "your sperm count must be too low" or "maybe you can't have children" but then... something amazing happened...
I downloaded a period tracker onto my android phone called Pink Pad (free, & ) (I'm sure any period tracker would work, I even used a free one!) if you keep up with it to the exact dates of when you start/stop your period it will then tell you what your most fertile days are, your ovulation day.
I had my last period (starting) on March 15, 2015 and the tracker stated I would be ovulating the 29th of the same month so my partner and I had intercourse everyday from the 27th-30th
4 weeks later - I went to the hospital (thinking I was pregnant but afraid to tell anyone) The hospital took my blood and said I wasn't pregnant.
I knew something wasn't right when every other month my periods were so regular but this time there was nothing so I took 4 clear blue pregnancy tests that all said pregnant as well as 2 first response tests that clearly had 2 lines meaning PREGNANT so I visited the local health department in the prenatal section. They did a pregnancy test there and I told them about my hospital experience; they informed me that the pregnancy hormone shows up in urine before it shows in your blood plus the fact that I found out so early that I was pregnant. They did confirm that I was 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I am now 7 weeks and 2 days with an ultrasound appointment on the 26th of this month.
So ladies, do not give up and try the period tracker app, it worked for me literally the same month I downloaded it and now I couldn't be happier!
