Bloody hell they hurt more after each baby!! A lot! Love how no one tells you about them beforehand
No point to this post really :-)

Ah yes, one of the joys of birth that you forget! I remember them being painful after #2 but that they didn't last long. Not looking forward to them after #3 but good to have a heads up.
Hope things are going well.

Did you not escape them after no2? I remember messaging you saying how sore they were. They put me off a 3rd for a few weeks lol. Hope they don't last too long! X
Hope they go away quickly Ally, oooft just the thought of them makes me shudder x

It's a bit crap going through labour then still feeling like you're having contractions 36 hours later! Ah well, it'll be helping the tummy disappear quicker hopefully
I had them last time CK but not this bad. MW gave me a heatpad which helps

Hope they go soon Ally. I forgot about these. Pregnancy and labour is oh so glamourous x

They're horrid, aren't they. I hope they go away quickly for you x

Congratulations again Ally! Forgive my ignorance, but do you only get these pains with a natural birth? I was induced which ended in a section and I don't remember feeling the betas pains, but my bottom half was numb for a good few hours after, so don't know if that's why I didn't!?

Rkb I think after pains are strongest when you bf and can happen with any delivery but usually happen with subsequent deliveries. I've not had apart from very mild pains that only last a few secs thank goodness.

I'm not sure RKB, I know they get worse after each birth. I don't remember having them first time round

They had me crying last night. I didn't have them at all with zoe (cs, ff) so they have come as a total shock to me thus time (cs, bf).

I didn't have them with my first 2 but I did with 3. Oof, not nice esp when feeding. On,y lasted about 2 days though. Congratulations again :)

I never had these, but dreading having them this time. Any chance I may get away without having them?

Yep, they are mucho hurty! Day two with Reggie and they are still unpleasant (particularly when feeding). Am taking paracetamol/ibuprofen for pain from stitches and I think they help a bit - perhaps give them a try?

I never had them with either of my two. My MIL asked me a few days after I had my second baby how I was coping with the after pains I replied "what after pains?" I had never heard of it before and never had any pain
