ahh sorry you're suffering hunni. do the bras have underwires? maternity bras usually don't as you're not supposed to wear wires really for.the reason you mentioned, they cause digging and discomfort but I've seen some that do have them so it worth a mention. i found the best ones for me were Georges (asdas) own cheap normal bras. they like four quid for two and sooooo comfy. they're the smart price ones in the green n white plastic wrapper and that means they're cheap aswell, BONUS!!! cold.cabbage leaves from the fridge are said to help if you put them in ur bra (wierd i know lol but said to be really effective) mine were sooooo sore in my last pregnancy i honestly thought something was wrong lol i couldn't even put my arms down and taking the bra off at night was AGONY!!! sports bras in a size or two too big are also good as they have no wires but hold you gently in place so there's no bouncy jerky painful movements xxxxx

Your rib cage expands so even if you havent put on weight the size increase because iof the ribcage increasing.
My last little boy was unbelievable long 62cm at birth, so my ribs were killing by the end and I was 10 Days late with him too. He use to kick the life out of me I felt so bruised.
Carriwell do some nice seamless stretch fabric bras about £12 each though, I used some with my first as it saved me upping the size every few months

is it red or swollen or anything hun, is it possible it could be a cyst do u think? I'm only mentioning it as the way you described the pain, it seems quite localised if you know what i mean? and I've had a cyst more at the side of my boob, like nearly on my armpit as it was right on the side boob lol and it hurt more when i wore bra. i think i was around 34 weeks when i noticed it and mw and doctor said all the veins and milk ducts are working overtime add to that the hormones cysts and even mastitis before birth are quite common. it may just be down to hormones n sore "pregnancy boobs" hun, I'm not saying it IS anything like that i just thought with the pain only being in a certain place it was maybe worth a mention.
i hope you get some relief soon hun and hope those bras work for u, they were BRILL for me xxxx

i have worn the asda bras since i fell pg i love them!! also i got 2 strappy feeding tops from h and m which have a shelf for support they are great but i suggest wearing them under another top as the support is enough to help and keep compfy but not really enough for being in public lol
