Good day mamas!
so I am almost 6 weeks preggo and for the past 4 days ive been taking Zovirax due to fever blisters on my nose. well yesterday during dinner around 9 I took my scheduled dose and 20 mins later I start to feel stomach pains as if I am having to pass bowel and head to the bathroom. when I get to the bathroom I start feeling a sensation of my face, neck in fire and my palms, neck start to itch, my tongue heavier and I start throwing up and passing bowel movement all at once, faintish, dizzy THE WORST! I ask my partner to call 911 because I swore I was dyeing. paramedics get there and they are the worst! they are like oh you are having mild symptoms, we can take you or you can just take Benadryl! I am like wtf! I am pregnant, NO I am worried take me. make a long story short once I am walking to the ambulance (yea they didn't even want to place me on the bed) I start to have severe cramping in my lower abdominal area and back (I have had kids before so I know these pains are not normal) well on the way they give me an IV and give me Benadryl thru the vein and the allergic symptoms go away right away, but the cramping is worst! as I get to the hospital waiting in the waiting room I have the urge to pee and when I go BOOM! bright red blood! every wipe there was bright red blood, it wasn't like a period (heavy) but every wipe there was a good amount. they ran blood test and even a vaginal ultrasound and all they said was go home take more Benadryl for the ZOVIRAX and keep an eye because I was having a threatning miscarriage. WTF! that's it? no info on your baby looks good and or NOTHING. I am in the air. I am still pregnant or what? I have put a pad to monitor the bleeding and since I got home, its been brown and very little.

If you are only nearing 6wks they won't find anything on a scan at this stage sadly, it is usually closer to 7-8wks they see a dot & heartbeat.
The cramps could be part of the anaphylaxis that you experienced (also why you were sick & bowels simultaneous) so it is sadly a waiting game at this point. All you can do is take things easy, avoid heavy lifting & wait (agonising I know)
