Im new on here and expecting my 4th baby, which is a baby boy, i've just recently changed hospitals for my anti natal care so i can give birth in a birthing centre where i had my previous baby, I was shocked to hear that my Alpha-fetoprotein levels were high, i have never heard of this before altho this is my 4th pregnancy, and was really angry as my previous midwife before i transfered hospitals did not tell me, so i now have to have another scan at 30 weeks as my baby might be small, im still unclear if this is serious or not, but i am a bit worried for my unborn child, ive looked on google but have come across other things linked to this protein thing so i have left it for the midwifes and scans, have anyone experianced this and what was the out come
