Does anyone have the monitor with the mat, single parent monitor and the display/thermometer thingy? If so, can we use that in another room and still hear movement and sound? At the mo S us in our room with the movement mat on but we will be moving her into her own room shortly and seem to think we would need the deluxe version with two patent units. We have lost the bloody instructions too :-(
Any help would be great?

We have the single one and If I have to pop downstairs to let dogs out I take the single parent unit with me and works fine

As far as I can see the angel part with the sensor would go with S and you have the monitor wherever you are. The temperature is that of the angel unit isn't it? I don't see why you would need the deluxe unless iv misunderstood what you mean

Yes yes just worked it out thank you. Is it easy to set the sound girls?

Hmm, I think I worked it out through trial and error so can't be that hard! The instructions confused me. We have it with sound and the swinging thingy but not the swinging thingy clicking if that makes sense.

The clicking is very annoying, I can't see how anyone can stand it! Ours is also set to pick up sound rather than constantly transmit sound so you only hear what you really need to, iykwim. I also have it on lowest sound most of the time.

Same as others have said. We have our sound thingy set to the second to lowest sensitivity as it really does pick up everything and not just what you 'need' to hear otherwise.

Help why is it constantly beeping now? We have set it to sound and movement and now has an intermittent beeping sound aaahh

Is it the clicking noise (like a regular tick?) or have you accidentally paged the parent unit from the base in the room? Honestly, once you have done all the settings once you won't need to do it again until you stop using the mat.

Have you searched for the instructions online?

K and I sussed it out last night. We had it on the wrong setting, but have now mastered it. Thanks for all your help and yes VE we had to google the instructions. For some reason we have the box but no instructions

In the menu, you have three pictures
"wavy lines" - movement monitor turned on if picture visible. Pendulum will swing when movement monitor turned on and movement is detected
"pendulum" - if picture visible in menu, then pendulum will swing and make ticking noise to show movement has been detected
"person talking" - if picture visible, the sound monitor is active. The parent monitor on older models will always "hum" but newer version only make a noise if sound was detected within the last 10 seconds.
You need the wavy lines and person talking visible. HTH
