I've ordered the close caboo dx which I plan to use mostly round the house when O is unsettled so I can actually get things done but will use it out and about occassionally. My question is, I know this is another layer of fabric so what do you dress your LO's in? In the house I assume it's just what they're wearing (so vest and babygrow) but out and about they must need more layers but is a pramsuit not a bit much? Should I just put a cardigan on top of what he's wearing and will his legs not be cold? Or am I supposed to have a coat to fasten over him? (I do have a maternity coat that I could probably do this)

I use a starsuit so thin fleece suit on top of whichever outfit she's wearing. But if I'm just nipping to the shops I put my coat round us both. You can get special babywearing coats and fleeces on ebay but not necessary. Also baby leg warmers can be useful like huggalugs. I got my gran to knit me some x

You might find your baby answers that question for you. A usually wears whatever he was wearing in the house plus a cardigan if it's cold. Usually he has tights, trousers, long-sleeved vest and then as I say an extra layer for arms if necessary. He would scream if I tried to put anything else on, he gets very warm in the sling. During the summer he often just wore a nappy in there.

I would second the starsuit & the hugalugs (great legwarmers). Also a good tip that I learnt very quickly. Make sure you sling your baby in your normal clothes then put your coat or cardigan over the top as you get very warm with them close to you & you can't take your coat off easily once they're in the sling!
