Sorry! If your LOs reacted to it, how long did it last??
P is now on her 3rd day of being really poorly. Sunday she had an angry red measles rash all over her tummy and back. That has faded a bit now but she has a fever, is clingy and unhappy, overly sleepy, horrid nappies and very off her food. I think she's probably eaten over 3 days what she'd usually eat in one. She is still drinking water and milk.
Do i just ride it out or is there a point she should be checked over? It's the not eating that worries me the most as she has a HUGE appetite normally.

Hi hun, I just had a quick google for you. It does suggest that it's normally longer period before they get ill from it and that any real change in character then to ring your doctor for advice. It's very likely it's a virus she has got, s has just come out of one that had him just the same, so the jab could just be a coinsidence. I'd give NHS a call though even to just to put your mind at rest. I hope she is her gorgeous smiley hungry self again soon x

Isobelle had a fever for a few nights & was clingy but only really during the night. I would suggest you go to your gp tomorrow if she's still out of sorts just to make sure x

O hasn't had his MMR yet as I did his 12/3 month old jabs separately (so he has only had his 12 month old ones) Anyway, from what I remember with C he was very clingy and leery. His main reaction came about a week post jabs.

Thanks ladies. If she's not herself in the morning I think I'll call my gp and run it past him.

E had 'measles' for 5 days. It was the fifth day when we noticed she was much brighter and back to herself. We didn't worry as the Dr here said that a reaction could happen over the next 2 weeks but any longer then we should take her in. Ella didn't eat- I recall it as my parents were visiting and we went for a Friday brunch where she usually gorges herself on food but this time ate a slice of cucumber and nothing else! Poor P, it's not very nice at all xxx

Just to add- Ella was fine for 3 days after the jabs and then the rash appeared and her temp ramped up.

Thanks WS. That sounds exactly like P's reaction timing then. She's woken up with a sky high fever again and very unhappy.
