    Hey Ladies

    Excuse the gatecrahing!

Great post. I'm not PG but hoping to be soonish (fingers crossed and all that!) and have gluten intolerance and so would be very interested to hear people's stories of coping with a gluten free diet whilst PG.

    Oh Hiyas *waves*
First 14 wks I suffered alot....
I wanted bread 24/7 and I have cheated but then get back on the wagon as the after effects are not good!!

Its a bit strange not really knowing what to expect. And the doctors dont know either. They say either you cope well or you dont...

How are you getting on with your Crohns hun?

    *Sprinkle, sprinkle* for you BeyondBroody!!

hey, i'm not doing bad thanks, i'm off all meds now (so scary!!) and everything seems okay at the moment, as being pregnant is meant to help the symptoms of crohns.

I too dont eat bread - but have been having the odd bit of toast lately! seem bloated and thats about it.

i know, doctors just use us as guinea pigs lol, xx

Yeah! I did hear that being pregnant helps for you with Crohns! Thats a bonus for you if it goes that way lol. I was only diagnosed last yr with Coeliac so its all still so new to me... And so damn hard!! I keep wondering when I cheat if I am doing something bad for baby but honestly sometimes cant help but have those nice things And do ya wonder if lil one will be the same as you? I do constantly and such a worry how to bring a lil one up with these things... xxxxxx
