My dad went, he said the hotel itself was quite tatty and dated but there was lots to do. X

Oh, that's a shame... though I might feel slightly less pressure in a tatty hotel with two children!

We've just been down and stayed at H's hotel the other week, which used to be a Waldorf Astoria and has just changed to Hilton. OMG ! Zoe is really well behaved in those situations, well as well as you cann expect of a 4 yr old, but I just didn't feel that children were welcome. The swimming pool had set times that children could go, which weren't times we could be there, and Z was really disappointed. H mentioned it to the front of house manager who rang down to the spa and arranged with them for Zoe and I to go whenever we wanted with H being a bit of a regular there ... but I just felt so awkward the whole time. I can not imagine what it will be like going back with a newborn as well.

Oh JB, Mr R wants to go on a golf break with some friends to Celtic Manor, wives and children included.
I can't bring myself to tell him I don't want to go. My uni friends live just down the road. I might tell him I am staying there instead (she has two the same age as us).
