Got a presentation scan on Fri when I'll b 37 weeks, hoping if she's breech they can turn her. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the procedure or has had it done? X

All I know is from the nhs website, i have not known anyone who has had it done.
The obstetrician tries to turn the baby into a head-down (cephalic) position by applying pressure on your abdomen. It's a safe procedure although it can be a little uncomfortable. Around 50% of breech babies can be turned using ECV, and of those, most stay head-down, allowing you to have a normal birth.
I always like wikipedia for a quick overview of stuff, some people don't like it as they say the information is not always accurate but I have found its generally not bad.
I think my sister was due to have one but the baby made a quick turn around shortly before hand, maybe your little bundle will do the same
