My friend had pre-eclampsia both pregnancies.
First one was born at 32 weeks, was in hospital for quite a few months and had alot to deal with.
And second one she needed a emergency c section at 35 weeks because it got so bad. Baby was only kept in hospital for two weeks
Hopefully things will be alright for you xx

From 32 weeks she needed to take high blood pressure pills and they only worked for a while, that's why she needed the emergency c section. They might put you on pills too and put you on bed rest like they did her in second pregnancy x

Morning, thanks for your reply! Currently trying not to freak out, just can't shake off the feeling that something is wrong... Baby has been quiet since yesterday, moving but not much or as often. Last night I felt unwell like the start of the flu, body aches and was soo tired I couldn't focus on the telly
bp is fine, but I have got protin in my urine (+1 yesterday) I'm seeing the midwife today at 11.40 so will see what she says. I'm sure I'm just scaring myself, I'm not enjoying this pregnancy anymore because I'm constantly worrying and counting down the weeks till it's over and he's safe!
ive also got urobilinogen in my urine, which is liver related so I'm worrying about hellp syndrome now too lol only problem with working in hospital... You can test yourself lol

I had pre eclampsia for my daughter which is my first and only child. i got really swollen everywhere and my blood pressure was really high. I found out I had it when I was almost 8 months pregnant. I wasn't given any pills or was put on bed rest. I actually work until I was 9 months pregnant. I gave birth at 38weeks. I push her out. she was healthy but I had to stay in a room for 24hr without her because they needed to get the swelling down a little bit. And my blood pressure was high too so they was trying to get it down as well. After that I got to go be with my daughter and after three days we was good to go home. I know everyone is different so I pray everything goes good with you and the baby.. Best of luck!
