I'm having an irrational sulk that I'll have to take mine off!

Yes, and I will this time. I'll take it off my fingers but can't see any reason to have it off both ends IYSWIM. In fact the (female) anaesthetist even commented on my pretty toe nails so it clearly wasn't much of an issue.

I know that rationale behind it (they apparently look at your nails to check blood flow) but I don't want to get rid of my nice feet!
In fact, I am tempted to have it done again before section time....

Mine was an emergency section (although pretty relaxed and not at all rushed) and I had painted toe nails and they never took it off. I think I may have had painted finger nails too. Oh, the good old days when I had time to paint my nails!

I definitely had my toes painted as I always do- I hate feet and hate my bare toes! No one mentioned it as a problem.
It was an emergency c section but not a hurried one so they could have removed it if they found it necessary but didn't.
I'm having an elective CS this time and will have them painted

I was thinking this the other day when I had my pedicure done. I was going to book myself in for a few more and one before my section but wasnt sure if i was allowed to have pretty toes!

They took the nail verb ish off my ties when I went into theatre for my forceps delivery with Ned. It was all quite rushed but they still took it off.

Oh, I'm not sure what to do. Might leave it on and let them tell me I need to take it off if I do.
Ah, little things....
Ps. I am so not vain about my feet so don't really mind!!

I was told to remove all nail varnish at the pre-op appointment before my sections.
