As the title really, we are wondering about getting one for H who's 18 weeks but wanted to see if people think they are worth the money?
how long did your lo's use them for?

We bought one second-hand for £45 and I'm happy with it, it's worth that money but I wouldn't personally say it's worth paying the full price for. My son is quite fussy though and if he loved it as much as most babies seem to then it probably would be worth it. He usually stays in there 10 minutes before getting bored (5-10 mins more than he'll spend anywhere else!).

I wouldn't pay full price for it, but pleased with the price I paid at boots, with resale value being so high I think it will be good value.... That being said we don't know if she likes it yet!

I certainly don't think they are worth the rrp. I paid £15 for one on eBay I prob wouldn't pay more than £40. Isaac was fine for a few months but from 8ish months he hated it because he was desperate to get out. It was good from 5ish months so I could get a brew in peace but 3ish months use wasn't great tbh

It was my saviour! S would happily go in it for ages at a time, it meant I could make dinner, clean etc. I think bearing in mind how high the resale value is I'd happily pay about £60 for one new, wouldn't pay £100 though. Luckily we were leant one last time and will be this time! S was in his for about 6 months as he wasnt on the move until he turned one but his little either is so big I can't see him lasting very long in it.

E loved her's. The PILS bought it as an early Christmas present when she was 4 months (she was sitting unaided happily at that age) and is only now not using it much at nearly 11 months as she has started crawling. It was a godsend for me as I could stick her in it and go about my business elsewhere in the house for 45 minutes happily as I could hear her bouncing away.
Not sure I would have bought new if i had been paying, there are loads on sale secondhand x

Now that E is using hers daily id gladly spend the rrp and more! It gives me hands free time and a very happy baby.
Before I knew whether E would like it I'm not so sure I would have. We got ours in tesco club card exchange.

I think I will get one. h loved his swing so in hoping this is the same.
Would you all recommend the fisher price one?

Yes yes yes. I'd pay double for it!

Worth it's weight in gold- we paid fully price and would happily do so again

Yeah it's worth it, though I'd probably try get one second hand because there is always jumperoos on eBay, gumtree, facebay etc. I bought mine from Ally, L used it then my 2 nephews and my SIL has it for her twins now.

Yes yes yes. I think it will be even more worth it for #2 as she will be safe from being trodden on by #1!!

Another big fat yes here too! J is 6 months old and although he's been in it for a couple of months, he's just this week started to bounce properly (think he's going to go through the roof) so think there are a few months mileage left yet. Although the tune is repetitive, it's somehow not that annoying! Ours is the Fisher Price one but it was a gift from my mum.

Absolutely. Ours was actually a present, but I would have gladly paid the RRP for it - it gave me the gift of a happy and amused baby! She would have stayed in it for hours if we'd let her (I think on one or two occasions I did
