.. let's get this board moving!!
Really struggling for boy's names this time round.....we have a very very short list of just 2 names at the moment..... Arthur and Louie.
Girls names we have more options including Rose, Betsy, Bella, Evelyn, Evangeline, Poppy, Eliza etc etc...I could go on!
Let's give each other some inspiration and reel off your favourite boys and girls names......HIT ME!!

Oh, how exciting. August isn't too far off now, I hope your keeping well.
I love your taste in names. Mine probably won't suit but ATM I just love Patch for a boy, I would be willing to face all the sideways glances I'd probably get for it I think. I've already got Peter and Shea. I like sonny, Aiden and Callum too.
Girls, like you the list could go on. I love celtic names Sorcha, Saoirse, Alannah, Grace. I'm lucky we had boys though as H and myself have completely different taste in girls names.

I like Matthew, Thomas, Benjamin, Adam, Samuel, Danny/Daniel, for boys, but we won't be using any of them as either close family already have them or H doesn't like them. We cannot find a boys name we both like! Fingers crossed Raindrop is a girl! I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for some names.

N would have been Casper if she had been a boy, and Emily was in the mix for a girl's name for a while.

N would have been Emily or Amelia had he been a girl, although we wouldn't go for those now. I now would like Edith, Eden or Josephine for a girl. Current boy favourites are Henry and Isaac.
I love Arthur by the way! xx

I bloomin' love a name thread :)
High probability you won't like many of mine!!
Lidia / Lideah
Roseline / Rosaline

Thanks QS! I'm doing good thanks lovely, though I never realised you felt so much more tired etc 2nd time round ;-) I love Celtic names (my nan was Irish and it'd be a fab nod to her) would love to use Sorcha or Saoirse but H vetoed! I also love Callum but it's our nephew's name sadly.
Counter...Gilbert would be hilarious with our surname ;-) I actually love the majority of your girls names there....I would have a Mabel in a heartbeat, but sadly another H has vetoed :'(

If we have a girl Edith is going to be her middle name (totally unhelpful but liked seeing it mentioned on here!)
Boy names we're struggling with too as there is already alot of nephews/male cousins in our families. My H can't decide on any he likes despite buying a baby book and going through every single name!!

Still love Micah and Blake for boys names.
Girls names are a bit harder foe me but I do like Quinn and Savannah.

I think the bump thread should be resurrected so we can see how you are all doing. Is Deedee about too? No wonder your tired this time you have a toddler too, I hope your being well looked after! I can't believe you have similar taste in names, I absolutely love them but always get vetoed.
11/05/2014 at 22:40
RayeRaye, is that Mee-sha. I wouldn't use it but I love that.
I'm another lover of Mabel. Evelyn was the only one me and H both liked but couldn't decide if we would pronounce it Eve-Lynn or Ev-lyn? Does that make sence?

I'll try and get a bump thread going in the week...not sure if DD is still about as she's not on the tri threads now? Not sure if she's only posting on DW now? Hope you're all doing well love x

I like neve (I know its not the traditional spelling, but we also like Irish names due to both dads parents bring Irish but being English wonder if they would struggle with the spelling and people pronouncing it wrong), poppy, Evie, eve, possibly willow
For boys I love William but it wouldn't go with our surname if anyone shortened it to Willie, Finn. Not really sure of any more we've not talked about it properly yet and I'm finding it hard to find names I like as much as k!

I love the name Neve too but friends have a little girl with the same name :-(

I have plenty I like for boys, but not girls. I only liked Darcey for a girl, and was glad I never got to use it, as it is far too popular for my tastes now.
I like Brodey for a boy or girl.
Other names On our boys list were Tobey, Corey, and we ditched Riley and Finley, due to how popular they became.
We have Casey, Eden, Blaise and Jacobey.

There are some fantastic names on here. We are getting no where fast with our decision for boy or girl and we have zero names we agree on that I love at the moment, might just have to go with Molly's suggestion of Barbie for a girl and Nothing for a boy
12/05/2014 at 15:43
We are struggling for boys names for our potential 2nd. We have a William, so would like something that goes with it. Just now Angus is top of the list. We had Dominic as our other option. Girls we have Evelyn, Florence, Caitlyn and Isla.

H and I were discussing names the other day, purely for the fun of it though - I won't be gracing the TTC boards any time soon!
We only had Seth the first time round for a boy but we managed to come up with Abe if we have another boy. It's unusual but the more we said it, it the more we liked it. I think it goes with Seth nicely.
For a girl, I like...
Sadie, Eliza, Matilda, Summer, Elsa. I like the idea of another one syllable name that can't be shortened or lengthened, like Seth and Abe but can't think of one for a girl.
And it would be lovely to see another bump thread, I love seeing how you tri ladies are getting on!
