In the last week, J has been around two older babies that have now got chicken pox. As a three month old FF baby, will she have any of my immunity left to protect her?

I don't think she will at that age. I really hope she doesn't get it. How long ago was she in contact with them?

Exactly a week ago, they both started getting spots at the end of last week.

I think it's up to 3 weeks that it can appear. Keep a close eye in her for any cold symptoms or if she goes off her milk. It's actually not good for a baby under 6 months to get it and sounds as though J was around them when they would have been in the contagious stages.

We're spot watching too at the mo as my niece had it last week. According to the NHS page the spots take from 10 to 21 days to appear after 'contact'. The contagious period is 2 to 3 days before the spots appear until they've scabbed over, which is why you have to keep them in until then. Babies under 1 are meant to be less likely to get it as they still carry some immunity from the mother and if they do it's likely to be quite mild. It's if they're under 4 weeks it's more problematic.
