We've nearly got all the major things we need for Baby C now, one of the last things on the list is some sort of chair for him.
We've been looking at Fisher Price ones (Precious Planet and Discover 'n' Grow) and the bouncy chair option, however I've now had the Rainforest swing recommended to me and that baby might find a swing more soothing/entertaining than a bouncer!
So what does everyone else have/what have your babies loved? Swing over bouncer? Any particular make/model? We've got jungle/safari themed everything so the Precious Planet, Discover 'n' Grow and Rainforest stuff appealed because of the jungle animals they have on them!
Any recommendations welcome!

We have the old version of this: www.amazon.co.uk/.../ref=sr_1_1
It's very versatile, they can nap in it when little, then sit and rock, and it converts to a toddler chair for later. We have a jungle theme too!
I had thought about a swing, but he'd have outgrown it by now. The trouble is, you just can't tell what they'll like until they're here!

We had this: www.toysrus.co.uk/.../Activity-Rocker-in-Ziggy-Zebra(0081774)
E always looked uncomfy in the bouncy chair but this was lovely. It has a good recline on it and she would sleep for ages. When she got bigger we were able to make it more upright. We did have a swing, but found that to be a bit hit and miss. Somedays she'd love it (though never for more than 15 minutes at a time!) and somedays she would cry when I put her in it.
Like Saisi says, you really won't know until they arrive. If you can hold off until then, Babies R Us were fine letting us put E in the rocker before we bought it.

We have both. Both fisher price, jungle chair a d rainforest swing. H loves both at different tunes of day. We have the swing in the kitchen so he sits in there whilst we eat and happily plays. He is almost 4 months and has nowhere near outgrown it. We were given ours but I would have happily paid for it as we v rarely have a disturbed meal because of it. He's been in it since about 6 weeks.
With the chair he didn't like it when small but from about 8 week he happily goes in it, plays with the dangly toys and naps. Again well worth it. If I had to pick one I'd pick the swing but if you can I'd get both. Try eBay for second hand swings as you don't know what baby wil like until you try
