I ordered one at the weekend, just got to pick it up from the post office - so excited! They look so much easier to use than faffing with a blanket. The only difficult thing was choosing the colour!

Just got to decide what to do with the 700 baby blankets that H's grandma has knitted us now...

I had one with L and it was great, especially as she was a winter baby. I had a size 1, though I probably should've gone for a size 2 as L grew quite quickly and the Morrck holes were getting stretched in the carseat as I increased the size for her, if that makes sense! They are great for babies but I'd get one 2nd hand as they're quite pricey new.

I loved mine, sad R is too big for it now! If you are interested in a pink spotty one I should probably sell it as there's no chance of it fitting her this year!

We have one and I love it, probably wont get used as much 3rd time round as our pram isn't a travel system so won't be outside with the car seat much. Will still be good for freezing days in the car

I love ours. Got a size 2 and just tucked the excess fabric in when he was little. I reckon it'll last us another winter.

Aren't your babies too hot in them though?  A is always sweaty in the carseat, even in just a t-shirt.  I'd love a Morrck but not sure if they'd work for us?

Sofa leopard, if this ones a girl I'm interested! I have a gender scan booked for the 14th.

Smashed crab, I had him unwrapped in the car but if you went from car to outside to inside its really useful to wrap and unwrap them as needs be rather than disturbing a sleeping baby.

Cool, I'm in no rush to sell (wish I could jusitfy keeping it!) I found them really useful for keeping babies at the right temperature as you can wrap and unwrap the layers as necessary.

Wow, that's brilliant! Sounds like everything has worked out perfectly for you. Can't believe Jude is going to school already, how fast has that gone?

Holly is also starting school this year, and Rosa is 18 months already. Feeling sad that I'm done with baby days and clinging on to BFing to convince myself she isn't growing up too quickly Wink

Absolutely worth their weight in gold.  I loved size 1for our January baby and have been recently using size 2 on cooler days.  My E would get hot in it on certain summer days but it's so easy to take out and I can also use it on carseat / pram / over the sling of desperate.

Personally would buy the right size as size 2 is pretty large and they'd be a lot of spare material,  which you'd have to wrap round which IMO defeats the object as makes it too hot.
