I obviously don't plan on A getting any direct sunlight, but want to put some on her in case she gets a bit of sun when we're out in the pram or whatever and don't notice immediately.
I just bought some nivea sun baby, factor 50, uva and uvb protection. Only just read the back of the bottle now we're home and it says suitable for babies from 3 months...A is 5 weeks...will it still be ok?
If not, any recommendations?

They all say that on them because babies shouldn't be in direct sunlight as you said. But like you, I wanted to put something on S when he was little. Think I used the Nivea one too and he didn't react to it at all.

wWHs. I'd just try it out on a small patch of skin first

Def do a patch test first. We have used Simple Baby and Banana Boat on Michael and no problems with either. He has suncream on almost everyday over here, I don't like taking any risks with the burning sun of Dubai!

Will do a patch test in that case... stupid question - is there a best place on her to try it? Arm/leg/belly/back?

I did it on his arm

we use Ultrasun 50+ - it has none of the nasties in it so is very good for my son who has sensitive skin
