How is best to wash a brand new woven wrap? I managed to get hold of one that I had my eye on bit would like to give it a quick wash. Also, tumbling? I've heard it can sometimes help softening.
Thank you x

I just stick them on at 30. I've always been too scared to tumble, though a steam iron is good or breaking in. What did you get?

Ok thanks I got a kokadi nixe. It was between that and a ll mint lace (but wasn't sure if it was too girly with the pink stripe through it) I'd love a ML ring sling though.. I'll try to post a pic if the weathers nice enough for a walk later. Thanks for all your help!

I always wash them at 30 with just washing liquid or powder, no fabric conditioner as it would make it slippery. Washing powder/liquid without optical brighteners etc is better - I use something like Ecover

Thanks Mamite, I would've used loads of conditioner if you hadn't said too as I thought it'd help soften!! I've only got my usual powder but I use it on the cloth nappies so I'm hoping it'll be ok.

Anything you use on nappies will be fine.
Yeah, I would've thought that about the fabric conditioner too!
