After much deciding on what our pram criteria is we have kind of decided we like the Babystyle Oyster Max.
- Carrycot suitable for overnight sleeping
- Compatible with Maxi Cosi car seat
- Isn't too far over our £500 budget!
Does anyone have one? Any opinions?!

I have an Oyster but not the Max, doesn't look like there's much difference between them when using as a single though.
I like it because it folds up small, car seat can go straight on, the funky colours, 4 wheels, smooth to push. You can have it parent facing and facing out.
I can't actually think of any cons! The basket is pretty small but that's standard with most prams.

Good to hear HatTrick!
The only difference I can see is the carrycot is rated for overnight sleeping on the max, otherwise we would be going for the more pocket friendly Oyster!

Yes that's a bonus, handy that they're adapted that. I'd get the Max if I were to ever need a double...

I've an oyster and a friend has just bought the Max. Don't know her opinion on it as yet, but I know she looked at quite a few doubles. The oyster is great, but don't get the air filled tyres. They punctured remarkably easily and caused us so many problems we replaced them for the cheaper plastic ones.

Thanks Little Welsh One, I will remember to purchase another set of plastic wheels too!
The in laws have offered to pay for the pram which is lovely and a big weight off my shoulders!

we have the standard oyster (max wasn't out when we were looking otherwise we might have gone for it)
I love our oyster easy to handle
H can put it up with 1 hand if needed.
Handle is a nice hight, folds easily it is such a reasonable price you can justify buying an additional colur pack
We ordered ours with the solid wheels as we knew we would be using over rough ground and couldn't see the air tyres lasting solid wheels have been fab 18 months in with daily use and still going strong.

I had one of the very first Oysters - I'm so pleased they are becoming popular now as I loved it! The only fault I found was L outgrew it very quickly and we replaced the Oyster with a Maclaren buggy by 1year.
