Has anyone had a back to back delivery?
baby is facing wrong way but unsure if its a problem or not?

I did but we didn't realise until baby got stuck during labour. The cheeky monkey had been the other way right till the last minute! I had a forceps delivery but I think that was more to do with the fact that she had tilted her head back and got stuck rather than being back to back. I know people who have had a baby back to back with no interventions.

Both mine were back to back. Little blighters! Very painful in the back. Blew my mind. But both were delivered vaginally without forceps/ventouse etc.

So I can still delivery naturally? I'm 37w and mw said this morning oh its ok baby will move but that was it. Would my labour pains be more in my back than my front then?

Snowflake, my labour pains were mostly in my back and down my legs and I was told that was due to the position. My abdominal pains didn't compare! And my period pains ever since giving birth are much more back-related and in my legs.

My third was back to back and turned just before and during labour. I didn't know until I had an appointment with a MW to discuss my labour a few months after.

My baby turned back to back a few days before labour. Labour pains were all in my back. I ended up with a emc because she failed to decend but think that's to do with her head being tilted and me having a small pelvis.

My first baby was the right position that's why I'm unsure what this means. Would a gym ball and lying on my left help it move?

Get on all fours and rock back and forth and also don't cross your legs when sitting.

I always cross my legs so need to be conscious not to do that! On all 4s will be difficult as I'll either get stuck or the little one will decide to play horsey, lol

Haha, maybe not that one then! Walking up and down the stairs sidewards is want to be another one.

W went back to back while I was in labour, but by the time they told me that, they were in the throws of explaining a section might be my best option. He'd been the right way round right up until that point! So it's possible baby may move round before you get to the point of delivery!

I'll try some side stepping stair walking. I'm aiming for a short hospital stay since hubs can't take off 14 continuous days more likely a day or 2 a week for a few weeks plus with a 1.5 yr old I would ideally like things to go as smoothly as possible

Found out when I was overdue that my lo was back to back. I was induced - Another one with labour pain all in back and legs. She was stuck in birth canal too long and delivered by forceps. All fine though!
Did kind of try the ball, all fours thing to turn her.
It'll be fine :-)
