I know..its been done many times..work have just told me that they will be getting me John Lewis vouchers for my maternity leave gift..so obviously i have been straight on there to look at the change bags they have!
All along i have been wanting one of these
But now i have started looking at pacapods....Anyone got a pacapod? and which one if you have?

I have and whilst I've not used it yet I love it. I wanted something quite classic, no flowery baby patterns or anything that screamed changing bag. I wanted something with a place for everything and the pacapod has just that.

Which one did you get Tweetie?

You couldn't be looking at 2 more different bags! I've a big slouchy bag and it's great in that it's got loads of space inside, it's wipe clean and waterproof and I could fit in all I needed for 2 children. It's also light and comfortable to carry. The downside is the lack of pockets which can make organisation more difficult.
I looked at the pecapods and very nearly bought one, before I realised that the containers will take space out of the main bag which I'd need for clothes and bottles etc. When weaning, I'd take a separate lunch bag out anyway, so didn't want one taking up space in my bag.
I actually have a brand new, sealed in wrapper, big slouchy, black and white spotty I'm about to put on For Sale. (My original split near one of the side pockets, so I sent it back for a replacement, realised I was without a changing bag so bought a new one, hoping they'd refund me. They would only send a replacement so now the new one's arrived that I no longer need!) They're £47 on Amazon.
Personally, I love skip hop bags (which is what I had before and I've just got a new one to replace the big slouchy as I missed it!) as they're really hard wearing, have loads of pockets and quite reasonably priced. (Must stop buying and selling changing bags ...)

Tweetie - that is the exact one i was looking at!!
LWO...i have looked at skip hop too.....Oh decisions!!!

If you go for Skip Hop, get one with a flap over the top. I've just bought a www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+skip-hop-via-messenger-bag-in-baby-changing-bags-and-mats+b3618 in black and love it! Think I've finally found the changing bag I've been looking for (after 3 yrs and 8 bags ...) It was also a bargain as it was reduced in their outlet with a damaged side pocket which I've easily sewn up. I've managed to get loads into it and it's so light to carry, I was really surprised. The stroller clips are really sturdy too. Just need to flog the Babymel to pay for it! (Or I may keep that one as well to use on the beach on hols to carry the beach wear as It's waterproof. Decisions, decisions ...)

So many decisions to make where bags are concerned hey! I guess I should also consider the fact I am hoping to sling too.

Bexy if you want any real life pics I can take some for you. I don't know what other changing bags have for attaching to the pram but the pacapod has two clips making it very secure. I might actually fill in with nappies and a change of clothes just to see how much space there is in the big section as the individual pods are separate from that part so they don't take up any space for all the other stuff you need. Mine is the black and cream design and matches my pram perfectly but that wasn't intentional.

Thanks tweetie! I did touch one the other day when I went to John Lewis.. That's what made me start checking them out. Would be good to know how you get on when you have put some essentials in tho!

When I next venture off the couch I will fill it up and update you.

I've got the pacapod Napier. I love it. looks the same as the Almora but maybe it's different in size? I wanted the firenze but it was a bit pricey for me!
I have filled it this week as an extra bag for the hospital so H can grab it if we run out of stuff. Off the top of my head...in one pod I've managed to get a whole pack of newborn nappies (out of packet) wipes & tube of sudocrem. The other pod I easily got a bottle, dummies, Muslins, bibs, bottle warmer/pouch. The main zip up bits not massive to look at but I've got about 4 bodysuits, 2 sleepsuits, two trousers, two t-shirts , cardigan, 2 pairs of socks and scratch mitts, possibly more but thats what I remember. If I manage to breast feed I may ditch one pod for some more space! I like that it has the different handles, long strap and buggy clips too!

Thanks Tweetie...no rush! Im stuck to the couch now too..
Libby..thats impressive - looking at the john lewis website i think the napier is slightly larger than the almora....
