Hi Girls
Hoping your all well and bumps are good too. I just been looking online as I was not too sure about Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), Maternity Allowance (MA) etc etc etc.
Anyway once I had looked into it I decided I had to put a post on here as I found out my partner and me are entitled to a whoping extra ??5489.34 over the next 39 weeks (this does not include any extra Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and Child Benefit we will be entitled to once baby is born).
This includes;
***Maternity Allowance (MA) ??123.06 a week can be claimed from 29 weeks and for the next 39 weeks.***
***Sure Start Grant - one off payment of ??500 which can be claimed from 29 weeks until baby 3 months old***
***Health in Pregnancy Grant (HIP) - one off payment of ??190 which can be claimed from 25 weeks***
(HIP everyone entitled to)
If you would like to find out if you are entitled to any of the above or even more benefits that I could not claim myself, this is the link to the Direct Gov website where all the information is held.
