I'm SUCH a chunky monkey! Not lost a single pound since the week I had Agnes. I'm starting Slimming World tomorrow but not banking on huge results. We're off to a wedding in July and I need to be able to easily breastfeed.
Anyone bought/seen a formal buttoned dress recently? I think I need an 18, but could even be a 20 if the sizes come up small, so I can't buy from my favourite places. I don't want to pay a fortune as I only plan to wear it once ;)
Any recs/tips much appreciated.

Could you find a stretchy maxi dress that allows boobs to be pulled out? I'm being a bridesmaid in July, and we've got these dresses, the material is stretchy enough that I can expose a boob for feeding, I'm going to take a pashmina for a bit of extra coverage if needed while feeding. I've only tried it on whilst mega pregnant, but I think it's going to be forgiving of the *coughoverfourstonecough* ridiculous amount of weight I've gained and the inevitable residual mummy tummy.

Oh that's very pretty!!! Gorgeous colour. I wouldn't want to bump in to the model though, you could cut yourself on that hip bone
Good suggestion about a wrap maxi. I'm going to have to actually *go* to shops aren't I? And feel material and (gag) try stuff on. I wanted to just pick something and then have the postie deliver it and then chuck it on my back before we went :) I don't know even what shops to try! I'm such a rubbish girl.

Shop suggestions for you: monsoon, they do lovely maxi dresses and size wise go upto a 20/22, (I'm currently a size 20/22), marks and spencer - a bit hit and miss, but they do sometimes have nice ones, debenhams - they're debut range is quite good, new look are cheap and you could get a basic dress and then dress it up with jewellery, blazer/pashmina and bag. Hope that's helps a bit!

I have been out dress shopping this weekend (sister wedding in less than 3weeks) - and got one in Pepperbury/Bravissimo. The woman in there was so helpful espeically when i explained i wanted a wrap style on boobs so i could breastfeed. She keep popping in/out storeroom with various different ones. Brilliant :-)
Shame trying to find shoes afterwards wasnt the same. Size 9 feet = total nightmare!

I was recommended to look at http://www.seraphine.com/ as they do specific nursing dresses. (I looked but never got round to ordering, as my Mum was paying & she wanted to take me shopping!)
