First off I am trying to conceive. I took a test, just to see, 9 days before I was due for my period. It came out positive. I was pretty stunned, so I took two more and they were also positive. We are all really happy about it. However, two days later I just went to the bathroom and am bleeding. It's not a big flow but it's not what I would expect.. TMI but I'm scared.. it looked like mucus with blood..
I just I haven't made a doctor's appointment yet, so there's no one to call to see... Please, any words of experience or anything are appreciated..

You having pain/cramping with this bleeding? I had a small bleed on day of missed period, ended up to be implantation bleed, went after a day and everything went fine, I suggest taking another test, see if it's still a strong positive or fainter, good luck x

I just wanted to update anyone reading this....
I lost the baby. I haven't been to the doctor, but my bleeding continued for five days, with lots of clots.
I took a pregnancy test on the third day of bleeding, the line was there but faint. I took a test on the fourth day of bleeding the line was even more faint. I took two tests this morning, the first day after bleeding, there was no line and a digital test said not pregnant.
I don't know why this happened....
I did a bunch of research, and my guess is it was a "chemical pregnancy" or an early miscarriage. The stuff I read says that chemical pregnancy are when the egg is fertilized but does not implant. If I didn't take a test before my missed period, I would have never known and just thought I was having a heavy period.

Hi marsa, I am sorry to hear what you are going through. Ive had similar before but each time went on to conceive my now 18 and 15 year old soon after. I saw the lost babies as my little dress rehearsal babies.
As I understand it , for a ppregnancy test to show positive, the baby cells need to implant into the uterus lining. It would then take a few days for enough hcg to build up to be detected.
Be kind to yourself and take care xxx
