I am around 6 week pregnant. In December I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks ish. Yesterday afternoon I started to have brown discharge that hasn't stopped today. I went for my doctors appointment this afternoon and in a very nice way my doc said if I was going to suffer another miscarriage there was nothing I/ he could do about it. I have to do another pregnancy test in 7-10 days to see if I am getting positive results and then go back and see him w/c 6th April . He reckons that I wouldn't get an early scan at this early stage as there would be nothing to see yet. He did explain that it could be implantation bleed but my miscarriage in December was exactly the same. I started with brown discharge and I had hardly any bleeding and couldn't actually believe that I had miscarried. Any advice would be really appreciated! x

I bled continually between 10 and 14 weeks during my first pregnancy and DD was absolutely fine, so not all bleeding is sinister. Just take it easy, unfortunately your GP is right and you do just have to wait and see what happens. just try and relax as best you can for now as stressing won't help (even tho I know not worrying is near impossible!)

I have had some stomach cramps this morning and blood so I am convinced this is heading the same way. Feeling devastated don't know what to do......

Smith... If the blood is bright red then you should go to the hospital to get checked out. Sadly, if the worst is happening then there won't be anything they can do to stop it but they will check you over to make sure you are ohysically managing ok (& check of course that the baby is / was in the right place rather than ectopic). At 6 weeks a vaginal ultrasound would be able to pick up a fetal pole & possibly a heartbeat if the baby is doing ok.
im so sorry you're going through this x
