Hi, I just wondered if any 1 else has had the same experience as me. I thort I was 9 weeks pregnant, I started bleeding very lightly 8 days ago with slight cramps as Well so I went to my gp who referred me for an early pregnancy scan. So I went to my scan on Tuesday, the sonographer said that he couldn't see anything with an untra sound scan so I had to have an internal one. On this scan he could see the sack and also he baby with no heartbeat and also said that the baby was only measuring 5 weeks and 5 days and 2mm in length. I have to go back in 1 week time to see if there is any growth. I am still experiencing light bleeding that is quite dark in colour and cramping. Does this mean I am probably going to have a miscarriage?? I'm worried sick!!

Aww I'm so sorry you are going through this right now. I know it's not easy. I had the same and in my case it turned out the baby had stopped growing and I did go on to miscarry. That doesn't mean the same will happen to you but it may help you to prepare for the worse. I did go on to have two very healthy boys and I'm pregnant with my third so try to stay strong. I know it's not easy though. X

Some people have worked their dates wrong and just not been as far gone, could that be the case for you? I did have bleeding in this pregnancy which was nothing so not all bleeding is bad either. I really hope that's the case for you but it could obviously go either way. I really do feel for you. X
