When I found out I was pregnant I was already 5 weeks along and could hardly believe it seeing as I was sure I was getting my period through these few weeks. The day after I found out, I had a bleed again and decided to get a private scan, we saw heartbeat and the doc said everything looked fine but it was a threatened miscarriage.
Going home and waiting another 2 weeks for the next scan felt like torture but atleast the bleeding seemed to stop. It was the saturday 2 days before my scan that i had another bleed after going to the bathroom but it immediately stopped. We went for our next scan and again all was fine with no sign where the bleeding was coming from.
After this scan we had to wait 4 more weeks for the next scan and the dr did some bloodwork to review during our next visit. A week before my scan I had some spotting and called the dr right away and he told me to come in so he could check, we went and once again all was fine. This time he said my cervix was really sensitive and it could be the reason I was spotting, he gave me some vaginal cream in case of infection and told me not to panic again unless I had cramps and was bleeding with clots. All my bloodwork seemed fine and had nothing to be alarmed about.
A week and a half after our scan I had bright red blood in the toilet after urinating and wiping, which turned into brown spotting. I phoned the dr and told him it was up to him if he wanted to see me and he told me to come in on saturday. I went for another scan and all seemed fine. He said part of my placenta was attached fairly close to my cervix, that it was nothing to worry about and that it might be why I was bleeding.
After saturday I had another bleed on saturday night after a bowel movement, a bleed on the way home after urinating on sunday which turned to spotting and finally I just had another bleed today after a bowel movement which seemed to have stopped for now. No pain and no clots.
Is there anybody who has been through this before? I just want to know what is going on, if i should worry or if its just something that can happen and shouldnt be a problem.
