Feel gutted this morning, been having brown discharge on and off since missed period so had an early scan Thursday and seen my babies heartbeat was great to see and cried with relief!! Measured me at 6 weeks. Brown discharge started again yesterday but not much got up this morning and went for a wee and to my horror there was red blood when wiped and quite a bit. But no more since!!
I had a miscarriage in Jan and just got everything cross this isn't going same way....

Offering you huge cyber hugs. Whilst it is scary & very hard not to think about what has happened before, every pregnancy is different & what happens in one may/may not happen in another.
My eldest I had no symptoms other than a growing bump but with my youngest I bled what was effectively a 15wk long light period right through my 1st trimester, I scared myself witless both times, but I still have two happy healthy girls.
Bleeding is actually highly common in early pregnancy & can occur for many different reasons as your body changes & adjusts with motherhood, it isn't always a bad sign. Look after yourself, keep your chin up & you'll be doing everything you can do, nature will do the rest. Best wishes

was it an internal scan you had? if so it most likely irritated your cervix and thats what caused the bleeding. during my first pg i had an internal scan and that evening i had some brown discharge. freaked myself out but it was fine. if theres no more now then i wouldnt worry. x
