Anyone ever heard of this before?
I noticed when I took my sexy surgical stockings off that I had a blister on my toe. It wasn't there before I had my section and I hadn't worn shoes that would rub.
During my shower last night, I felt two more on my back.
Totally forgot to mention it to the MW who visited yesterday. She is back tomorrow though so shall tell her then...

That sounds a bit odd......didnt have anything like that. I would query with your mw x

Are they liquid filled? I wonder if the toe one could be from the stockings but that doesn't explain the ones on your back?
When is the MW coming again?

Bed sores maybe?
I still have a thin pressure mark over the front of my ankle from the stockings

Big guess but sounds like an allergic reaction to me, oxygen SATs probes are often put on toes and taped on, also did you have ECG/heart leads put on? These are sometimes put on your back, rather than front, ever reacted to plasters before? Could also be a reaction to a drug they gave you. As others have said, mention to your midwife. X

EB!!! I think you've hit the jackpot there. That would make a lot of sense.

Hor-rah, I like it when I'm right, lol. Hope it clears up soon x x

I would get your midwife to document it in your mat notes and if you ever go for a procedure again say you have a plaster allergy as it will likely get worse with each exposure x

Yep, definitely remember to mention it if you need anything doing again. I had a massive reaction to something, we didn't know what, when I had my section. Turns out I have developed am allergy to the alcohol wipes they use to clean your skin. I forgot to mention it when I had blood taken 3 weeks ago and still a rash which is rashly itchy all where she wiped. Funny thing is that I had had no reaction all the way through that pregnancy.
