    Ladies,

I have to confess, I am about 4 weeks overdue a Brazillian. I am also fast approaching the 8week point. I haven't been because I was scared I might give the new bean a fright!!

Am I being daft, has anyone checked with their midwife?

Really want to be able to go, early pregnancy doesn't exactly make you feel a million dollars, but not having had a wax makes me feel particularly unattractive. I guess it is just one of those things which you get used to!

Would be great to know what you ladies ahead of me have done! Thanks

I don't go for waxing appointments, I epilate at home. Last time I did it was at about 6 weeks, I had a scan the next week so I was gald, just in case they got out the dildo cam! I did leave it ages after that (not great really, felt gross as it was!) but I don't think it's dangerous. I'm now 19 weeks and back to my normal routine! I haven't asked midwife though. I think it hurt a bit more when I did it the other day, but I think that's to do with increased blood flow.

    Oh Sellgirl, snap!!

I normally go every 4 weeks like clockwork but was scared of giving bubs a massive shock - glad I'm not the only one worrying about this bonkers stuff!!!!

I've had my waxing done as normal - if anything more frequently as my "hair" seems to be growing faster !

I had a wax at around week 4 and it was fine - I did worry a bit, but then thought the baby might as well get used to it as it'll be happening pretty regularly while it's in there!

I'm due another one soon (week 8, lol), although am tempted to hold off a bit so I am nice and hair free for my scan in wk 11...

Oh, I don't have a brazillian btw, just a normal 'high bikini'...

    xx
