Did you use disposable or reuseable breast pads?
what brand or make?
I use disposable ones last time Johnsons or Boots own usually. Quite fancy washable ones this time though x

Thanks. Did you buy a few of each to try to start with? Do reuseable hold more or less less leakage? I remember going through loads in the first few weeks so just trying to work out how many I'd need.

I'm using Little Lamb reusable pads this time, I have ten pairs (I think!) And find them just as good as disposable and they are saving me a fortune.

Thanks Margot. Now you are a good few weeks into bfing how often do you change them? I know everyone is different but I can't remember much it seems!
Also if you're out when you need to change them, do you have a wet bag in your change bag for them?

Now I change them once a day usually. If I'm out, I just put then in a wet bag with nappies and then wash with nappies every other day.

Thank you. That's a big help x

I leak a lot, although it is slightly better this time round. Lasinoh ones seem the best by a long way. I've not tried reusables this time.

I use little lambs ones, one pair does me all day and night. Saved me a fortune!

I used disposable and like Asda Little Angels the most. Sainsburys were horrible and too plasticky.

Another vote for little lambs reusable. Take a while to dry but I too have ten pairs and at the moment only changing once a day so not an issue.

Lanisoh definitely the best disposable ones! I got fed up paying so much though and bought little lamb ones...they took a bit of getting used to but now I use one pair all day and a single one at night for whichever boob I'm not feeding on! They do take a while to dry but get 10 pairs and that's plenty! Maybe a pack of disposables for backup? I wash with our light load a few times a week.

Thanks ladies. Going to order the little lamb ones x

I'm using little lamb ones now. however, i leaked a lot to begin with and would out soak these and as they have no water proof back i'd end up soaked! i was changing them A LOT during the day and at night I had to wear a disposable behind to stop me leaking over my bra/pj's.
Now at 5 months one or two pairs gets me through the entire day and night

This is great to read - I bought 10 pairs of little lambs (or maybe 15, I got carried away!) as we're going to be using cloth nappies so it made sense, but also bought 2 packs of lanisoh disposables for the first few days / as emergency back ups as I figured thinking about washing whilst trying to establish feeding and everything else with a newborn wouldn't be ideal.
