last week my breast were like rocks and so painful even when walking now for the past few days the pain has gone completely. I read that this can be a sign of miscarriage and i'm really worried now. I'm 10 weeks pregnant today. Can someone please help me. My scan isnt for another 2 weeks. I'm terrified there will be no heartbeat.

Firstly I'm no expert so please feel free to double check what I say with someone like your midwife etc! But, the below is from my understanding from people I know & books I've read, but I'm only 6 weeks + 2 pregnant (1st baby) so haven't got to your stage myself yet, but can imagine your worry so thought I'd reply.
Have you got other symtoms that have just disappeared? If the sore boobs have gradually got better over a few days and you still have other symtoms then I would try not to panic too much as symtoms (for a lot of women although some have certain symtoms throughout pregnancy) gradually tail off by the second trimester (you're only 2 weeks away), but if you bleed then I would definately see some asap to check everything's ok.
I had nausea (although not being sick) since implantation (i didn't know for sure at the time of course), but the last week or so that's tailed off and I'm eating like a horse instead, but my other symtoms are still there although they feel better some days more than others.
Try to relax as much as possible & if you are still really worried I would speak to your midwife or GP and see what they say. You are the only one who knows your own body so trust your instincts.

Thank you for your reply. I still have terrible nausea and the tenderness in my breasts have been coming and going so i dont know why i'm so worried when i wasn't a few weeks ago. I havent had any bleeding thank god. I also read that as you reach the 2nd trimester your symptoms can decrease so hopefully that is the case for me. My friend had a miscarriage last week so think i'm jusy terrified the same will happen to me x

Ah hun completely understand you feeling worried especially with your friend going through such a horrible time, but as you still have nausea and no bleeding I would take that as a positive sign and you'll probably be more concious of your symtoms after your friends experience. But obviously speak to your midwife if you're still worried - they would know best! I hope everything goes perfectly at the scan!

Hi Lyndsay, I'm 8 wks and this week all my symptoms have decreased. My breasts are less sore, nausea is less and so is the tiredness, although i still have them all just not as bad. I rang my gp as I was concerned like you. She said she would not worry about it and that symptoms can increase and decrease and increase again. She also said that I may be one of the lucky ones who's hormones are starting to level out. She understood me being worried but said that the chances of it being a Mc would be very small indeed.
So I feel a little better, just wish i didn't have 4wks to wait for the scan. Hope that helps a little x

I feel more at ease now as i know i'm not the only one . Really cant wait for my scan 13 days to go so i can see my baby is ok. I wish i hadnt came online as i've read some horrific stories. Think i'll try and keep away haha x
