I think I am experiencing this:
BFing is going great. She latched on straight after birth. At her 5 day MW appointment she'd lost only 1.6% of her birth weight as opposed to the potential up to 7-10%. I enjoy the closeness (and convenience). She's not been sick once. It's all good, but I get a total melancholy/depression-type feeling rush over me during the act of BFing. It's not a mood thing, I'm well and having a good time. I eventually confided to hubby about this physiological sensation of sadness that wasn't an emotion or triggered by thoughts, that I get with every feed. We both googled and came up with the same thing, D-MER.
Just wondered whether anyone else had this because I had never heard of it. :)

I have to admit that I've never heard of this. Hope it's something that goes with time. Take care x
