Can anyone advise me on this? A friend is selling hers and has offered us first refusal, I have looked at it briefly in the shop but wondered about any real life experiences?

I have a bugaboo cam 2 and love it. It will face both ways, steers beautifully, is fairly sturdy so does rough terrain ok, and fits in my Honda jazz. My only dislike is the relative inaccessibility of the basket when in carrycot mode, other than that I've been happily using it for 2 yrs without issues. I'd go for it!

I was really lusting after this but it folds in two parts, by taking the seat off IIRC and the frame doesn't clip together when collapsed so I found it a bit unwieldy. That didn't really work for us and the layout of our house but if you're keeping it up, it won't matter. It's such a lovely pushchair I was a little gutted to have to rule it out.

The frame does clip together when collapsed on the cam2, I would expect it to on the 3 too? It is a 2 part fold though, seat off then collapse frame. We store it in the car a lot of the time, or the frame in the hall and the seat on the wardrobe in the nursery, so the 2 part fold doesn't bother me, it only takes a second to put together.

I have this buggy and love it!!! It has bad points, the basket is totally rubbish in carrycot mode as said before. It's quite light and folds smaller than some other buggys I looked at. Steers well and is light to push, baby can be front or parent facing once in the pushchair bit, the carrycot is suitable for overnight sleeping if needed! I can't speak highly enough of it but have never had another buggy! The only downside is, accessories if your friend doesn't already have them, are expensive like footmuffs etc

SG the guy in John Lewis who demo'd the 3 for us said that they removed the clip function on the 3 because people moaned it was tricky. Seemed a bit daft to me too!

It comes with a footmuff and its the black on black version. I think I will go look at it and have a play. Most prams you have to dismantle to fold don't you?

I have a buffalo and love it. KB has the cam3, though she's not used it yet. The buff doesn't clip together when collapsed and I don't find it unwieldy at all, though it will fold I. One piece, while the cam won't. My brother and SIL have a cam and love love love it, and I absolutely love my buffalo.

That's good as the footmuff is £95 on its own! Def worth a look at!

I and KB have a cam 3. I LOVE mine. it's so easy to manoeuvre and I tested a lot as did my H. It just glides around. I was torn between that and icandy. Only disadvantage is basket is *** as it's real struggle to put anything underneath the carrycot and into the basket.
