Whenever I walk now I feel like baby is actually trying to escape Head wasn't engaged last week but I feel like I've dropped. What do you think? 1st pic was on Monday at 36+2, 2nd one is today at 36+5. I think it maybe slopes more now but hard to tell

Definitely looks lower today!

I've always stayed really high until the last minute so it's weird being so low already - hoping if baby has engaged it will all go in favour for getting induced at 39 weeks!
27/06/2013 at 14:04
Definitely dropped but I hate to say it, mine dropped massively at 34 weeks and I was induced!
Not only lower but also bigger, can't believe how much it has grown in a few days.

Definately looks like it's dropped!

I'm wanting induced anyway WH, as soon as I'm favourable for induction I'll be begging lol
27/06/2013 at 14:29
Do you mind me asking why you want to be induced early ? Is it something there is a precedent of them doing at your hospital ?
27/06/2013 at 14:45
Don't mind at all. Basically my last labour was awful and I'm pretty much terrified about giving birth this time. I want everything to happen as controlled as possible so really don't want to go into labour at home. Consultant has agreed to round about my due date so will hopefully find out tomorrow when she's willing to book me in. Last 2 were big babies too and she's said she doesn't want this one getting too big

Wow, that's quite a big difference in a few days!
27/06/2013 at 14:54
Ally, thanks for replying. It has got my mind wondering whether I would be able to be induced early rather than having the section. But then I think it is unlikely I'd be favourable anyway given that I was almost 2 weeks overdue with Zoe. I should just put it out of my mind and stick with the section.

At least you know in 3 weeks you'll have your baby :-) and recovery from electives isn't supposed to be too bad!
27/06/2013 at 15:26
Yeah it should be better than from an emergency section but am slightly anxious about being on my own with zoe and newborn after a week and not able to drive. Have also ben warned that sure to the circumstances last time I have a lot of scar tissue so that could be an issue. It just seems like there it's no right way to get this baby out.

Wow you've grown loads. Less shiny though, lol (which has prompted me to get back on the bio oil).
I csnt really see you've dropped much, but, it's something you can feel more than see, iykwim.

You've definitely grown and looks a like it has dropped and changed shape slightly!
27/06/2013 at 17:23
Lol IDC def less shiny, over did the oil a bit on Monday!
Will report back tomorrow after appt is baby is big and/or engaged :-)
JB - yeah that will be hard. Hopefully the scar tissue won't be too much of an issue. It is such a hard decision :-(
