Wrote a long post that somehow deleted itself.
basically I'm on day 6 and have a bit of a weepy wound. MW said to let air get to it, which is nigh on impossible, I am bf my newborn and I have a toddler, mIL is staying to help and hubby has slipped disc so is probably less mobile than me.
what can I do? This wound is *** compared to the last one. It's like a raisas lip as opposed to a cut glued back together (last time). If I lie flat it is still raised so surely how can it dry properly? It's really annoying me and I'm worried about infection. I'm sat here now on sofa letting air get to it whilst baby sleeps, but he will need feeding again soon and mil will be back with toddler soon so I can't lie fanny-out when she returns.
advice Anyone? I'm sad :(

Is your MW still coming in? I'd ask her or call GP for someone to have a look x

Midwife came on day after I got discharged from hospital (Friday) and then had to see at MLU on Sunday and then I go back to see her on Friday. Will call GP in morning.

Sounds like you need antibiotics. Mine was raised until I had a course of them.

Can you put some tea tree oil onto a sanitary pad and put it over the wound?

I don't have any. I did put a pad over it at one point so it wouldn't stick to pants, but won't that make it sweaty? I can't not wear pants, obviously, and no pants would be low enough to not touch it, especially once sat down.
I guess I will pad - up and call GP tomorrow. It's just all so rubbish with raging hormones, ill hubby, mil here, house a mess, melon boobs, lack of sleep and I will add raging hormones again for good measure.

Can you send you mil for tea tree and lavender? 5 drops each in the bath and you can use them both neat on the area x

Update - after airing it overnight each night it settled down. It probably wasn't as bad as I made out, but my milk was coming in and I was very tired and emotional. Thanks for the advice though guys x
