Just a pondering and I know this is one of the major factors of waiting after a MC for AF, but if you didn't wait and were to get pregnant right after a MC/ERPC, how do you know that it's 'real' and not left over hcg? Once you get a negative test is there any way that the levels could increase again in relation to your MC and register on a test rather than it being the result of a new pregnancy or is it the case that you could still have hcg levels, i.e. they've dropped by not to zero but they wouldn't ever actually increase again? So you could still get faint tests but they would never get any darker?
I know I ask the strangest questions!

As I mentioned before I had a bfn a fortnight after my erpc on a supermarket test and then a bfp on a couple of cheapies a few weeks later but never very dark. The IC tests are more sensitive than the supermarket ones so obviously my hcg levels hadn't fallen completely. They wouldn't rise again though.
Have you tested again? I think given you've had symptoms too if you've got a new bfp I reckon it's real

Thanks WH, I do keep thinking about your false positive at a later date. I've been doing opks thinking I might be going to OV, I did have a negative test on the 14th April, I was just worried if the hcg can actually increase again, but I didn't think that would be the case x
