according to my dating scan I am 13 weeks and 3 days pregnant, with my first child.
however my pregnancy was a shock as I had recently had my implant removed a few months earlier and found out I was pregnant; therefore had no missed period to work out dates from.
I had my first scan at 9 weeks and 1 day and then my dating scan 3 weeks later and I was 12 weeks 1 day.
I am convinced that I am further into my pregnancy than that though, as I have already started showing, my morning sickness started at 2 weeks (going by dates of scan) and stopped at 9-10 weeks, my hair and nails have all of a sudden started growing rapidly and look so much healthier, I am having crazy dreams at night and my craving for vinager is out of control. Going by all the baby sites and the books many of these symptoms do not begin untill 14-16 weeks and morning sickness doesn't start untill 4-5 weeks an tends to end at the beginning of the second trimester (14 weeks).
May sound crazy but before I did a pregnancy test I felt pregnant for a good few weeks but was too worried to take a test as I am only 18 and had a lot to get my head round.
also my sister is pregnant and had a scan at 8 weeks 4 days an the size difference was huge, my baby was almost twice the size of her scan picture with apparently only 5 days apart :/.
Also at my 12 weeks dating scan my baby kept sitting up in the sac and even the midwife doing the scan said they dont normally start to sit up untill 14+ weeks.
I may be out of my mind but I feel more like 15-16 weeks pregnant than 13 weeks. Is this a normal feeling or could I be correct?

Hi BabyBipper, your EDD is based upon the measurement of baby's thigh at your dating scan & many people often find that their original EDDs change with this scan measurement.
All babies like adults are different & will grow at different rates. Your dates will be accurate based upon your scan measurements, the size between babies may just be that one is larger with shorter legs whilst the other is smaller with longer legs. They should both develop at their own rate & will likely arrive within 1mth of each other (babies have their own timescale & arrive when they want to).
