I have seen them before with friends but I really can't picture them and I am struggling to find one online. I just want to know what to expect on Tuesday

Not sure how to post photos from my phone but if you google images 12 week scan you'll see loads.
When you are having your scan what you actually see on the screen is so much better than the photo as it will be moving its arms and legs around. They are normally good at pointing everything out to you aswell like the heart , brain, spine etc.
it's absolutely incredible to see and you are guaranteed to cry!

I agree with JT - The still pictures don't do the image on screen any justice at all! At ours the sonographer showed us all the body parts including tiny hands! I wonder if there's any videos on youtube?

AH! I think this is why I couldn't find anything. I was googling 1st scan rather than 12 week scan! Duh!!!!
Will check youtube now. (bit naughtly at work but sod it!)

We got a DVD with ours, it's amazing and so much better than the flat photos. A had hiccups during his 12-week scan! Wish I could put it up but I am not technological enough.

This is ours at 13+5, couldn't believe how much E looked like both his scans when he was born! I already 'knew' his face as our scans were so clear.
My friend has just had her 20 week scan and her baby was blowing bubbles! Cutest thing I've ever seenon facebook! xx
