I have a probably irrational hatred of open toes shoes on children but have fallen in love with some diddy Havanias.
Can your LO's walk in flip flops? They have the strap at the back so they are held in.

Yep she can - she loves flip flops but I do worry a bit about sore toes.

No she can't. She desperately wants flip flops but can't walk in them.

No idea, I've never tried because I thought flip flops weren't good for their feet?

S can't walk in those style flip flops at all but that could just be him!

Just about, I thought he'd have an issue with the bit in between in his toes but he really likes them. I'm looking for some white havainias in his size but I will keep them purely for the beach because he's so clumsy he needs proper sandals to protect his feet.

I've not tried on my girls but my nieces had them last year when they were 6 & 4 and they constantly walked out of them, even with the strap. I agree they look cute but we'll stick with crocs and doodles this year.

I wouldn't even attempt them with Tia at nearly 5. She's so bloody clumsy she would break her neck!

Ned can, he has havaianas

Yes L can, she loves wearing them in the summer, but only the ones with the straps on the back.

I've not tried L as he's always falling over.
