Hi ladies, I'm having to have cervix length scans as I had a cone loop biopsy in 2012 and they need to keep an eye on my cervix length to check for shortening or opening. I am 15+3 and due for my 2nd one tomorrow, the first was at 6 weeks. Has anyone had these done? I'm not worried about the scan, I've had them before, I'm more nervous about what they might say! Especially as I've had lots of pain throughout, hoping that doesn't mean anything bad!
can anyone tell me if they also check the baby during these scans? I just wondered if they look at the baby at all, check the heartbeat etc. I'm hoping they do!
Thanks to anyone that has info for me.

Hi hun they don't check baby just measure ur cervix. I had lots of pains but cx length was always spot on and made it to c sec at 38 + 6. I had 2 scans one at 20 and one at 30. They will prob do swabs for things like group b strep and any stis that can cause prem labour too x
