Has anyone got any nursery/bedrooms they could show me for inspiration?  I am thinking I would like to make Molly's bedrooom more grown up but not sure I will leave it to her to choose as it will probably end up bright pink and princess overload (I don't mind a BIT of either!) I like some of the wall sticker ideas I have seen on Etsy but just trying to sort out what we are going to do as both my girls are having their rooms decorated this summer whils they are on holiday with my parents.  My eldest is after a more sophisticated look and wants creams, browns and turquiose which is easy.  for the littliest who is nearly 5 I don't particualry want overly girlie

Ma bedroom is pink so probably not what you are looking for. I'll try to photograph later if I can get it tidy long enough to click the camera!

I like that wall sticker, that's nice.

I haven't got any photos but we redecorated my daughter's room when she was four. Her room is long and narrow with the window at the end facing the door. She has one wall painted pink - sugar pink I think it was called - and the other walls and ceiling painted white with a hint of pink. Curtains are from John Lewis and are white with dark and light pink polka dots, floor is stripped wood with a pink rug with white polka dots. Furniture is either cream or light pine coloured. Then she's got some framed prints on the walls.

She was really pleased with it - she chose the pink - but not longer afterwards decided she'd prefer green instead Laugh

I didn't want it to be too little princessy because I thought she might outgrow that quite quickly.

    Thank you

Twink - I really like your nursery, I love Green!

Weekender - Please do - I have my reasons for avoiding pink Wink but who knows - it may be the way we go!

Monnie - I love that tree, the wall sticker I  have seen that I love is a tree with monkeys, butterflys and an elephant (Molly is known as Monkey! Laugh)

Cedar - that is my thinking, I really want it to be something we can adapt as she gets a bit older

Plus another reason for not being too pink was that her room gets the light first thing and then can be a bit on the dark side. We felt if we painted the whole thing pink it might become too dark. I thought we'd taken some photos when it was first done and nice and tidy but clearly not.
