Strange question, but is it normal for babies to have chilly fingers all the time? W seems to suffer from them on a regular basis, especially in the morning when he's been in his grow bag all night. My house isn't cold, but it still seems to happen. During the day, i find his toes get a bit cold too. Is there any way to combat it, or is it just something that happens?
Any help would be much obliged!!

Does he have scratch mitts or sleepsuits with inbuilt ones? x

I'm pretty sure it's normal. As CK says try the sleepsuits with built in scratch mitts x

I was told in hospital it's normal and ok for their hands and feet to feel cold.

It is normal, something to do with their circulation. O always has cold hands but was told my MW that it was ok as long as he wasn't actually cold (check back of neck etc)

What TP and HT said, although try telling that to my mum who thinks he must be freezing even though it is 25 degrees!

Thanks ladies! He has a knack for taking his mits off, but at least it's normal! I've never seen the growbags with built in mitts.

I will have a look! Thanks HT!

I've not seen grobags with the mitts in built but all of my sleep suits have them. Sainsburys, next and mothercare have them. Check your sleep suits though as people easily miss the mitts as its just a big cuff that turns over so not an actual mitt hanging off.

I went a good 8 weeks before I realised the sleep suits had mittens built in! I was amazed when someone told me.

Oh! He had baby grows that had built in mits, but he grew out of them! I'll need to get him some more!
