Hi AR. Hope the power is restored v quickly. Today is second to worst day for it to happen to folk. Gah. Maybe it won't be too long? She said hopefully...,
We had a lovely day together. Took dog for blustery walk, parked up at the beach and watched the mental waves whilst eating chips, built a couple of bookcases and had a shift around in the bedroom, then drinks and dinner in town with a couple we're close to. Knackered today! Does the tiredness return at 25 weeks? Is this it now to the end? The last week or so has been doubly hard compared to the weeks preceding it!
I'm off to work in a mo but finishing early (4pm). Hoping H makes it home from France nice and quick, we've got lots of cooking and prepping to do for tomorrow. I'm very excited. It's only our second Christmas together and I'm so bloomin' happy (and lucky) to have my husband, we're both really excited about the whole Christmas in new house thing, and Boxing Day just us at home :)
Hello and festive waves to followers!!! xx

Oh ar that's awful, I guess if it had to happen today is better than tomorrow??? Every cloud and all that haha
Counter I'm in work today, bah humbug. But finish about 2-3 hopefully!
Afm,I'm going to work and will eat my weight in chocolate biscuits, mince pies and Pringles today to make it seem better!!
And tomorrow I get to open lots of lovely baby gifts xxxx

AR - hope your power comes back soon! I guess you can use it as an excuse to relax a little this morning.
Counter - sounds like you've had another busy day! Must be lovely to live that close to the beach though. Hope work goes quickly today. I don't seem to have got rid of the tiredness at any point so far. I was moaning about it to H the other day as it feels constant, but at the same time it's been pretty much my only symptom so I guess I'm lucky in a way.
Monnie - hope work goes quickly for you too. I'm so excited for you tomorrow, finding out the gender! Such a lovely way to do it.
AFM, safely back at my parents after a nightmare journey home yesterday. Working from home this morning which will pretty much involve turning on my laptop and crossing my fingers that nobody wants anything doing!
Baby-wise, my ticker now says 99 days. That's incredibly scary! I feel like my bump has doubled in the last week, I'll try and get a photo over the next couple of days.
Hope everyone and their families have a lovely Christmas xx

AR, oh noes! I hope the power comes back on v quickly for you.
Counter, sounds like a lovely day yesterday. Hope work goes quickly for you today, and you get to relax with H soon.
Monnie, sorry you're working too, enjoy the tasty norms to make it better! Do update us tomorrow with the gender, I'm excited to find out too!
Flossy, glad you got the Abel done safely yesterday, it was horrid wasn't it? Woo to 99 days left on the ticker, how exciting. (And scary.) def get a photo posted, I love a bit of bumpage.
Afm, early start this morning, but we've since had bacon sarnies and opened a stocking present each, so not a bad start to the day overall. We're having Christmas dinner number 1 today (of 3 over the next few days!) but this is the only one I have to cook, and it's only for the 3 of us, so shouldn't be too taxing. Then later tonight once it's J's bedtime (he's a bad traveller so it's just easier if he's asleep) we're driving from york to London to spend Christmas with the inlaws. I'm planning to use the journey to discuss baby names with H, hopefully we'll have some definite potentials by the end of the drive.
Happy Christmas to everyone if you're not on much over the next few days, I hope everyone has a wonderful time. X

Oh no AR, hope they get it sorted quickly! Just what you need when the fridge is chock full and you've got loads to do. Is it affecting lots near you?
Counter, sounds like a lovely day, hope work is easy today
Monnie, I'm not at work but have similar plans for today involving mince pies and crisps
Flossy, glad you are safe at your parents, the weather is horrendous! I loved seeing my ticker turn to double figures, feels like it's getting all that bit closer!
AFM, midwife at 9:20 this morning, and I'm just out the shower (and on here - priorities?? ), then got wrapping to finish that I was going to do last night but ended up in Tesco and that was enough for one night, got some housework to do, need to find the Santa key (last minute, me?), and ice Christmas cake and make mince pies. Oh and gingerbread men if M gets her way. Going to friends for drinks this afternoon then home to get ready for Santa coming!! Ms too excited, it's so cute!!
Hope everyone else is well xx

Weekender, won't you be leaving us soon? I saw a post by Sweetpea elsewhere and saw she's nearly at 30 (wow!) so it made me think of you! When do you 'graduate' to 3rd tri? :)

I haven't been on in AGES! Hi everyone, merry Christmas Eve :)
Did your power come back on, AR? I've been caught in the worst ice storm Toronto has seen in decades, and our power was our for over 2 days, just came back on last night late. My brother is still without power today, and it's getting down to -14C and windchill making it feel even colder. Thousands in Toronto have been told their power might not come back until the weekend, but people seem to be coming together to help their neighbours quite a bit. No power means no heat (and no water for my mom since she is on a well), and in Canada in winter that's just not good. If your power doesn't come back, do you have friends or family to crash with?
Counter and Monnie, I hope work today was lax and filled with festive cheer, though is assume you're both done now since I'm 5 hours behind!
Flossy, I heard the weather in the uk has been crazy! Glad your got to your destination safely.
SG, enjoy your Christmas dinners :) are you planning to share any of those name ideas you come up with?
Weekender, I like your priorities :)
AFM, I'm definitely starting to show a bit, though I still just look a bit fatter than normal! I've been obsessively taking photos of the trees outside my moms house because they just look gorgeous with all the ice on them! Here's an example:
The tree isn't normally bent like that
