Can anyone help me understand this please?
i started using the advanced opks but when i felt it wasnt true i backed it up with a regular opk and i'm even more confused now than ever!
cd 10 - advanced smiley face
cd 16 - advanced flashing smiley face regular an O
cd 17 - advanced smiley face regular an O
cd 21 - advanced smiley face (didnt use regular but think i should)
what is my body doing? this is too confusing for me to try work out. i'm beginning to think the opk's are like a random generator.

Hi Minty. I use these. Your not meant to carry on testing after you have a static smiley face on the advanced OPKs... as that signals your going to ovulate shortly. For me, I use the advanced OPKs alongside IC OPKs. I typically pick up a 'peak' - i.e. that I'm ovulating around 3-6 days before my IC OPKs pick up that I'm ovulating. I believe the IC OPKs are more accurate and I do ovulate when they say I'm about to - but I like using the advanced OPKs as well as it gives me a head up that its coming up (I have erratic / irregular cycles). Basically what I'm saying is that I think the advanced OPKs let you know when ovulation is approaching, and I'd carry on using other OPKs so you can then pinpoint it by the day. I think your body is gearing up to ovulate and perhaps hasn't yet.
