...they're blooming addictive aren't they!
19/06/2013 at 23:37
You don't hve to tell me! Nobody warns you about that do they. What you seen now?

I bought two Close pop-ins the other day and they arrived this morning. I've been doing the prewashes today so L can use them tomorrow. I have the Pink owl and pink turtle prints- http://www.babipur.co.uk/shop/Cloth-Nappies-Pop-in-+bamboo/c23_85/index.html

Very addictive. LOVE that owl one!
*drool* iv seen these. Aren't they like a hybrid, can keep putting innards in the wrap? How many times can you reuse? Sell it to me!

Yeah, the soaker bits just pop into the nappy and a booster will pop onto that one. I got two extra bamboo inserts, so it'll be one in, one out. They've also got an extra cuff round the legs to stop the leaks (hopefully!). I can report back properly once I've used them a few times. The patterns are lovely!
20/06/2013 at 06:11
I love those patterns!
I've only got a minkee (dream-dri) pop in and it's a bit rubbish on E now. Wish I'd got a bamboo one instead as the minkee one is just not absorbent enough (even boosted). It fitted her really well when she was tiny though.
Cloth nappies are definitely addictive! I've had to ban myself from buying anymore as we really don't need them. Have bought a few gNappies recently though to use on holiday!

The Close ones are fab looking....we got the yellow monkey one free from the council and it fit/looked fab. Sadly at this stage I can't afford to buy any so this will be a hypothetical baby number 2 thing!
20/06/2013 at 09:22
Not addictive at all!
20/06/2013 at 09:26
I have really had to curb my buying!
20/06/2013 at 09:30
My baby isn't even here yet and I counted yesterday and I already own 30 nappies - oops! I am definitely stopping buying now till baby is here though!
20/06/2013 at 09:37
Actually to save me starting a new thread as it is a pia from phone....Those who use 2 parters how tight doed the wtap need to be? My aio fail safe is not good enough now E wants to go to sleep at 8pm so i have a couple of bimbles with mothease wrap. Last night i did the wrapso there were no gaps but as thr edges are not padded it has left red marks on her legs and tummy.
Sorry bit rambly and no grammer wriggly baby on knee!
20/06/2013 at 10:07
I find I don't need to do them up too tightly (but E is older so no more runny poo). I use Tots Bots ones as they're soft round the legs and just do them up so they cover the nappy, but there's space round the legs (if that makes sense?!). If they leave red marks I'd loosen them a bit, but the red marks are usually just like the red marks from your socks - they'll fade quickly and don't hurt at all.

Yep makes sense marmite thanks. Will try a bit looser tonight.

Ridiculously addictive! I am constantly looking and buying. I am awaiting 4 tots bots that I have bought plus I'm eyeing up some more that I have found a good price on! I'm liking my TBs and Bumgenius at the mo, plus some cheap bimbles I bought and we're using LL bamboo with a motherease wrap at night. Have a few other kinds as well that I use as backups if we run out.
Margot, wait until baby is here - the addiction gets worse! Have you bought any newborn nappies? I'm finding myself buying some teeny ones at the mo as the BTP ones are just so bulky on her - they don't leak but just look it IYSWIM? What have you got in your stash?
20/06/2013 at 13:39
Don't say that Morph - or at least, don't tell H! So far, I've got Little Lambs in size 1 and 2 with a range of different wraps, a couple of medium Bambootys, lots of BTP - Ones and Twos, Bumgenius, Tots Bots on the way, Pop Ins, Mio Solos, LL OSFAs and cheapies and a heap of fleece liners that I've cut out of old blankets. Hoping to use the LL overnight and the others for daytime. I'm going to use disposables to begin with, hopefully till H goes back to work then I can get into a routine with washing etc, and if the boys are anything to go by, baby will be a good 11lb ish by then so should fit the BTP better.
20/06/2013 at 13:52
Oh good stash. I started on disposables but started trying out cloth at about 10 days and use them 90% of the time now. I haven't educated H yet so if he's on duty he uses a disposable unless I have left him a cloth one out. I think you bought the same LL bamboo ones I did? They are rest for overnight but I hate the LL wraps. I really must sell them actually.
The only leak I've had is from a LL OSFA but to be fair she isn't at the min weight for it yet, I was just being impatient!
20/06/2013 at 13:57
Think I did - the bargain 8 for £32 offer? I got half size 1 and half size 2 and already had two size 1 from the Real Nappy Week £5 offer. I've got a Bambino Mio wrap, Bummis wrap and Flip wrap as well as the LL so I can see what works - I'm after a Blueberry or Rumparooz wrap too but have promised H I will stop for now!
20/06/2013 at 14:03
Blueberry wraps are 2 for £20 on Fluff Heaven
I think I've got MIL into them as she thought they wfere marvellous when I dropped L off this morning.
20/06/2013 at 14:17
I know DS, I keep looking but I really ought to stop until baby is here and we know what it is for definite and how big etc. I'm going to distract myself with some sewing projects instead, including a wet bag!
